Both ‘Welcome Speech’ and ‘Let Yourself Go’ taken from the 2005 EP Welcome Speech have received extensive JJJ airplay giving purveyors of fine instrumental funk reason to celebrate.
Originally playing in and around Brisbane at venues such as The Zoo, Afro Dizzi Act came into existence in 1997 following a number of low-key jams. For the next few years, the quintet began building a reputation as one of Brisbane’s most consistently impressive and vigorous live acts.
The 7″ released on the Butter Beats label, This now rare pice of Brisbane funk history, boasts some awesome funk appoved by the funk gods themselves !!
We have only 5 copies of this funky 45, Katch found them while cleaning up the stock room so grab yourself a copy!!!
